i'm ghost writing this post for pam: for those of you who haven't heard, grandma mimi fell and broke her hip again this past sunday. she won't need surgery, but she will be almost a month recovering in a convalescent home. it would be nice if we could all keep her in our prayers and thoughts as she recovers. i'm sure she would also appreciate any cards, notes, letters, and/or pictures letting her know how much we are thinking of her. (especially since it's hard for her to talk on the phone and i'm sure she will like to have things to read while she is resting and healing.) thanks.
Chances are likely that if you’re part of the Palmer clan, your birthday is today.
So Happy Birthday Steve, Amy, Robin, Moana, and Eph.
But this post is for Robin. I’m really going to be sad when I don’t have Robin around to make doughnuts, talk, and go to movies with. So so sad.
I really don’t have enough pictures of Robin, I decided, but here are a couple from Kute Kadin’s birthday party. These pictures are so typical of Robin because she is always in the middle of kid activity. When she comes to my house Amaya thinks that she is coming over to play with her and not me. Robin is definitely Amaya’s favorite adult.
Robin is the sweetest person I know, and it’s not an exaggeration. She is very sympathetic and totally thought of ways to cheer me up when I was going through my 5 months of H-E-double-Hockey- Sticks pukiness (yes, that is a technical term for my ailment). She is always thinking of others and is so patient. I look up to her. Especially when it comes to parenting. Anyone who meets Kadin must see right away how awesome his mom (and dad) is.
