Flor and Carlo's Wedding

Sweet Flor got married yesterday to Carlo Bello at Muir Beach Overlook. It was all perfect! I wish I had taken better pictures (probably should of brought my real camera), and definitely should have charged my phone so I could of taken more pictures specially of the reception. Oh well.

She looked stunning (as expected) and Carlo looked mighty handsome. She wore a very cool dragon fly pin on her hair that was her great-great-grandma's. Aaron got his "reverend" certificate online and performed the wedding ceremony. He was great! All three of these people are incredible public speakers. Flor's vows made everyone cry, Carlo's vows made everyone laugh, and Aaron had a good combination of both.

Two weeks ago I was in NYC and was able to hang out with Flor, Aaron, and Carlo. It was great meeting Carlo. He is definitely as awesome as Flor is and I'm super happy for both of them. They met at the Brazilian festival in NYC 3 years ago. They went with friends and then their friends ditched them and the two of them ended up chit-chatting. They didn't exchange names or phone numbers. A month later they ran into each other at the airport in Mexico city and ended up having the same flight. She went up to him and said hi, and then took her seat. At the line in JFK to grab a taxi he came up to her and handed her his card. A couple weeks later she called, they went on a date, she really liked him, she said she looked him straight in the eyes and held him arm and said as clearly as she could "I really had a good time. CALL ME." He called, they continued to date, they moved in together, he proposed to her in Buzios in Brazil, then he went to Uganda for 3 months, and they planned this whole wedding long distance. It all worked out. They both looked super happy.

Musi also looked super happy. Shelly read a poem in honor of Bernarr and Bernar's best-friend who is the guru of strawberry planting in our area brought boxes and boxes of strawberries. Super sweet.

I don't have pictures but Shelly and Steve, Mimi and Karen, and Suzelle were all there too. Every one looked great and had a good time. We loved hanging out with Rainbow, Rama, and Elissa. Usually we only get to see them on Thanksgiving, so it was fun to catch up.

If you want to send a message congratulating the happy couple you can do so via their website.

Wedding location selected by the planner is out of the world. Guests seem to have a relaxing time with dear ones. Post wedding dinner of my cousin is on cards at this weekend. Already got the invite. Happy for the cute couple. Excited to visit San Francisco venues booked by uncle. Selected a crystal décor vase and a photo frame to gift them.
