Happy Birthday Mommy!

I don't know what I would do without my mom. She is so much a part of who I am. I am so grateful to have a mom who is such a good example of someone who is always trying to be a little better and live the gospel more fully. She always has really good gospel centered advice for any situation. So much of my testimony has been gained by watching my mom and doing what she does. I am thankful to have such a strong woman and role model in my life. Only now that I have my own kids do I really appreciate all of the sacrifices that my mom made to raise us. Thank you for being such a good mom. I love you!

i love you so so so much! I cannot imagine my life without you either. You are an amazing support to me. I agree with kaity that you are a good example too and I hope I can be as a good a mom as you are to us. I also admire how much other people look up to you and how you are a good mom and friend to people that aren't even your kids.

Today I was trying to be like Pam ( I jogged a little, then packed some food to take to work.) I appreciate Pam's example of taking good care of herself. She has come through for me again and again. I love remembering the morning she went out early and picked plumeria to string a lei for me (our costume for singing in the choir when the prophet came to Laie.) I couldn't sing because of laryngitis but she wanted me to feel included so I lip synced the performance. She has included me in mothering her babies from e to sienna and now I get to enjoy theirs. I could go on and on, but I will follow Kaity's lead and say I am also who I am because of Pam, my big sister/mentor.

i'll borrow from karen and sienna. pam has been such a good example to me while i've been here. she's proof that if you have your own life together, and are a good person, you are capable (mentally and literally) to watch over, and help others. pam is the best!

Pammy,
I am so glad mom is there to share your birthday with you and I know she is glad too. I hope it was a good one full of family and fun. You have always put your family first and I admire that about you. Beautiful, strong, kind, patient and a darling figure...she's our Pam!
Love,
Tricia

Wow. Thanks you guys. I had a nice day. The kids at school sang thrice. (They like to sing to get out of work.) But each time I shut my eyes and felt loved. Mighty brought me flowers and Jake gave me the coolest coconut looking pot (which is how the kids knew it was my birthday). Yesenia, Mariah, Christy, and Tailee went to Wailele with me and we had berry cobbler and applesauce cake after dinner. Then I stood on my hands. Thanks so much everyone and for the nice things you said. You make me want to live up to them. I love you too. Pam

She's been a great example as an "adopted" mom, too. Thanks for always opening your home to me, Pam, and being such a kind friend. Happy Birthday!
