tahoe

We went up to Tahoe for MLKJDay. The last time I was there I tried to snowboard and got owned pretty bad. So this time, I decided to spend time just being there. We did some fun things like sledding, hiking, and ice skating. I appreciated the snow. It was soothing and beautiful. I like leaving campus because it helps me to remember that there are real people out there that live and do real things besides school (like shovel snow and live in mansion/cabins on the lake shore). It probably seems weird to need that, but I definitely get caught up in the bubble of going to class and coming back and studying in my room all night. Anyway, here are some shots from the weekend. I loved it.

Noel,
At least stop by and have a quick bit to eat with us when you head up to Tahoe again. Also, email me at triciagrimsman@sbcglobal.net as I can usually get cheap condo stays in Tahoe. Glad you are having fun!
