We had a super fun visit and backpacking trip with Julie and Brent (aka Just Julie and Trent the pancake man, tm).  The Porcupine mountains border Lake Superior in the upper peninsula of Michigan.  Miriam hiked around 30 miles and Gwyn hiked 20.  Mirror lake had the best campsite and the best swimming lake.  We'll go there straightaway next time.  Wish you all could have joined us!
