As I've told you before, your birthday was a sharp right turn in what had been a rather messed up young adult life, and I thought you were the most beautiful baby in the world (felt sorry for people whose baby wasn't you). I still feel pretty lucky and know that a bunch of other people do too. Thanks for being such a good son, friend, support. I love the way you go out of your way to make people comfortable, the way you are so nonjudgmental, the way you love Amy and the kids. I am so glad you were born and love every minute I get to spend with you.

Happy Birthday Enoch! You are the best oldest brother ever. You have never been mean to me and would always make me cool drawings for my birthday cds. You are a really good dad and uncle. You were the cutest baby ever too. Now you need to move closer so we can see you more often.

I love you so much. I feel like you're the big brother I never had and always wished I did. You're so nice and patient. You were the first other Palmer I met and we were so lucky to live close to you guys during our dating and first years of marriage. You an Amy helped us have a smooth transition.
I hope you had a fun birthday. We had so much fun spending time with you in the summer. Of course, you're welcome to come to Santa Cruz whenever.
Happy Birthday Enoch. You've always been a great example. You got us out surfing the first time. (Even though Christian went over the falls on his first wave with no leash and had to swim in a half mile from Goats. At least that's how he tells it). Not sure how it worked, but we were hooked. We're looking forward to seeing you guys at Christmas.

Yes, you were a beautiful baby but what about the cute monkey hair that came later? I was so glad to have someone else to share monkey hair with. I also had hair that stood stright up when I was about one and so did you. You always had a smile on your face at every age and a have alwyas been a delight to be around. Wish you lived closer!
