Mimi is the easiest guest ever. She is completely self-actualized and self-entertaining. She's working through a pile of books Mariko has provided, the paper I bring home every day, takes a daily walk (often to the beach), and practices scrabble so she can "beat either Shelley or Suzelle." I'm slightly chagrined that she doesn't need to practice to beat me. We're pretty neck 'n neck. Sometimes she wins, sometimes me, and sometimes even my little sister, Colleen.

It's so good to know Mom is her same great self wherever she is. And I hope her new sunday shoes are comfortable. I love that you're keeping us posted.

Everyone likes to play with me, as I'm the designated loser. It's a wonder I still like to play scrabble with anyone, especially Mimi.
i'm not a challenge at all either. i get too lazy and give up. wish i could join you on some beach walks.
I loved seeing the photo and knowing Mimi is having a ball with you all. I am going through wtihdrawals not being able to play Mimi at scrabble, wish I could join you all. Have a terrific time in Hawaii.
