I am a runner

Did you know that I am a hard core runner? Yeah, I've been running about twice a week lately and I even requested a jogging stroller for my birthday. You probably thought this would never happen since I used to not be able to run for more than 100 yards without totally collapsing to the floor and dying of fatigue. But I am so hard core that today I went jogging at at 6:00pm in the bike trails in the woods behind family student housing. Impressive huh?! No, not impressive. Who jogs when there is barely light outside in the woods? Jesse and Chris maybe but I am convinced that they are made up of different stuff than normal humans. I am 100% human with probably some calcium deficiency. I broke my foot!!! Of course I broke my foot I could barely see where I was stepping. I am soooooo mad at my self. I am also in a a lot of pain right now.

Oh and no I don't want a jogging stroller anymore. I'm back to my initial feeling about running. I hate it!

you really broke your foot? i'm so sorry. shelley sprained her ankle yesterday (not nearly as bad as breaking something.) i hope it heals very fast. don't give up on jogging though once it's better.

man, that's such a bummer!! i hope it heals fast and isn't too painful! i was never really a runner, or really an any type of exerciser for that matter, but lately i've kind of gotten into it. i usually just do it at the gym though, so i'm not as adventurous as you. i should step out of the box.

Da. Oh no! I'm sorry. Did a deer do it? Did a deer run into you? Blame it on a deer. They're crazy there.

The way everyone started their comment is kind of funny.
But anyway, DA. Do not give up on running. I always go running at dusk. It's the best time, really. I've tried all sorts of times, and that's the best one. Keep running. But jogging with a jogging stroller was not the best idea ever. I mean, I'm really glad I have one, but sheesh, it's hard to push that thing around when you're already doing some work, y'know?
Sorry about your foot though. It still makes a good story. :)

ouch. i have been running too, but going very slowly and only for forty minutes or so at a time. i figured out a route without that many stop lights and along a channeled river for some of the way. i know several people here who've seriously hurt themselves running because they tried didn't work up to it, so i am being very careful. plus my leg is still not fully functional. sounds like you just had an unlucky accident though. hope you are feeling better soon. i also swim once or twice a week. it is super good exercise and low impact. you could probably even do it with a broken foot, if it isn't too bad. give it a try. jesse
