Hello Family! This cannibal soup has been simmering for several months so it should be really good by now. Watching food movies (Mostly Martha) makes me once again painfully aware that I am essentially not a cook. Or a photographer. But someone who appreciates beauty whether it's people or food. I miss all of you who are not here at present, in spite of the fact that Tailee made some killer banana bread (w/chocolate chips)--so you can see where priorities lie. Conference was a true feast. Brother Wirthlin is so sweet. And I'm going to try the test of good/better/best (knowing full well that many times good is as good is it's going to get). We ate tonight at Bouchers. Michelle made three different desserts. She wore a pink apron and pink striped pajama pants (in honor of spending Sunday at home). Love you more than summer. Mom

Thank you, Pammy. Atleast you always make a great cannibal stew! I had a hunch everyone was up at bouchers after conference. We had Jasmine's 18th birthday celebration with charlene and andy after the last session. Today Mom and I(and Shirley probably) are meeting Tricia and family at the cemetery. Mom and I are bringing a farmer's market bouquet of yellow and white irises. Save me some banana bread. :)
I miss Sunday dinners. I'm glad the Boucher's decided to initiate that, not only for the company, but because Michele's deserts are really good. The food at the dining hall is becoming more and more sub par (my new favorite word to describe it.)Especially on weekends. Banana bread sounds good right now. I am looking forward to good food at Thanksgiving!
Hi Noelle. I think the way you are eating probably feels better. When are you going to visit Santa Cruz? That's what I want to do.

Yesterday enzo got wet for the first time in someone elses baby pool. The whole atmosphere was different.Mom's were very concerened about kids splashing each other, tasting the water and getting their heads wet. the whole adventure lasted less than 5 minutes for Enzo. He broke all the rules too fast.
I really miss you. we should discuss christmas.
That does look like a yummy soup. It was fun to talk to Mikey, Minami and Truman the other day when I called home. I also ran in to Nan and Dave in the Wilk yesterday (speaking of Bouchers). They were eating lunch with Katie Wolfe and invited me to join them, but I was on my way to class. Still, it was great to see some familiar faces.
